Only receivers of a winner email have won. As part of our winner drawing process for online entrants, we check that we are able to charge funds against the payment method provided. If this is denied by the bank then this entrant is not selected as a winner.
Before a winner is selected, we must ensure that the entrant has enough funds and is eligible by their bank to be charged the amount in question. Therefore, an authorisation check is done against the bank account / Payment method. If this is check is not fully successful (there may be various reasons for this - all related to the bank account and payment method) the entrant will not be selected as a winner. Please note, however, there may still be authorisation checks and notifications visible to the entrant via their bank account.
Ultimately, if you have not received a winner e-mail, you have not been selected as a winner. Any authorisation checks/reservations visible in your bank account will ultimately disappear or reverse as SNS will not fulfill to debit you of any amount. We advise you to contact your bank or payment provider in these instances for further information.
